I'm back, yes. I'm not dead, yet. Although some of the crap that goes on in this place nearly kills me sometimes. Like that whole thing about increasing the price of alcohol, smokes and petrol. Now, I know that they think that cigarettes and alcohol are bad for your health, and I guess cars aren't that safe with all the illegal drivers on the road who haven't a fuckin clue how to work an automobile. But I think that to make all these thing unaffordable to the general public is only going to make people either tense or dead. Tense from the lack of somkes and/or beer, and dead from trying to walk from here to Matizburg in the blazing bloody heat we've been experiencing these days because even a taxi ride is too fuckin expensive!!!

Speaking of dead, has anyone else laughed about that whole "Night of the Long Knives" story? Not the Nazi one that happened in WWII, I'm talking that African one that's supposed to be happening the day that our beloved Madiba shuffles off his mortal coil. Well, for all of those cretins who can't keep up with the news - even I know about it, so it has to be all over by now - apparently, when Nelson Mandela dies, "all the blacks" (shivvver at the awful colonialist imagery) will take up arms and kill "all the whites" (cringe at the awful Afrikaaner imagery).

Now, as that DJ from that radio station said this morning, surely the average intelligence of the majority of people in this country isn't that low. And I agree. There are, in Africa, only a select few ignorant dicks who are foolish enough to buy into all that ethnocentric racist crap about ridding Africa of the white scourge. Unfortunately for us, a large number of those morons are senior members of the ANC (whoops! did I say that out loud?) and the other few have already started tackling that ole nasty white stain in Zim.

It sort of begs the question: do these guys think Hitler was cool? I mean, did they, really? After all the persecution of not only the Jews, but other minorities, and the systematic annihilation of truckloads of people, (which probably would have been them as well, if they'd been anywhere near the old bastard), do they really think that modelling themselves on that inhuman, Nazi son-of-a-whore is a good idea? Is this a new interpretation of the Bible? "Do unto others as you feel has been done unto you"? If not, then how will they justify this type of massacre, if it happens? Will they bother to even say "Oops, just kidding!" afterwards?

I do believe that "common sense" begins with a rumour, which is backed up with a lie. And this whole thing is probably a storm in a teacup at the moment. But what happens when people start taking it seriously? Those people who have been trained by their parents to hate, and who just need an excuse to go off and do their mamma proud. Hmmm... sounds like something from Huckleberry Finn, except the racists are white, and the innocents are black slaves.

Well, whatever happens, there's really only ever one thing to do if you're stuck between a rock and a black Nazi: give him the finger, call him a kraut and die honourably.

Let's face it, if you live in a country as magnificent and wild as South Africa, any day is a good day to die, not so?
