Chakijana! Zuma's Constitution

Well, he's certainly a slippery eel. Can't get him for rape, can't get him for corruption... I'm willing to bet he's never even paid a parking ticket in his life.
Interesting how the Rand dropped the moment the charges against Zuma were struck off the roll (effectively dismissed).
Amazing how the judge who let him off used the Constitution as his excuse! It's tantamount to blasphemy, the way we use our Constitution for our own ends - and even worse that "the spirit of the Consitution" was how the judge explained his decision to dismiss the charges against Zuma. So many people died so that our country could be free to adopt what is commonly accepted as the most progressive constitution in the world. And some bent, greedy old fart hides behind "the spirit of the Constitution" as a reason to go easy on a corrupt leader of the same country! I name him Chakijana* - trickster, joker, thief, betrayer, cunning and deceitful creature!
And speaking of the Constitution, the highest law of the land and what is supposed to fairly and democratically govern the people, isn't there some part of the Constitution that protects the people from being used and abused by crooks?
When Lion did not share his fatty meat with Chakijana, but gave him only lean meat and bones, Chakijana waited until the next day, when he could tie Lion's tail to the pole of his house, and then ran away with all the meat, leaving Lion to starve to death.
Since he got away with what was probably the most blatant and widely-blown-open case of corruption in South African history, I'm of the opinion that he could probably walk up to Mbeki and steal the country out from under his ass, and no-one would bat an eyelid.
Ironic, sad, and ultimately embarrassing as the rest of the world looks on, shakes their collective head and explains to their children that this is part of the reason why there are still lions roaming the streets in Africa.
But there may not be for very much longer...
I despise people for their stupidity, but I condemn politicians for taking advantage of it. And as all Nguni know, we should beware of Chakijana, for he will trick you if you let him!
Ah, fuck! Nuke it all and start from scratch! No people this time, though.
*Chakijana is the Zulu name for an animal found in Southern Africa, but I'm not going to name it because people are stupid, and if you give an animal a bad reputation, people will kill it. It already happens here with snakes and cats...
