Okay, so I've got the low-down on where Barbie actualy came from. And I quote:

I always knew there was something dodgy about the concept of a brainless bimbo being the idol of little girls (and some little boys) all over the world. It just goes to prove my theory that while the average intelligence of the generations has increased through the years, the average wisdom and capacity for actual thought has not.

Why the hell do you want to give your child a toy that started its career essentially as a prostitute? I mean, I personally don't have anything against the trade, or even strippers with silicone and collagen, and all that, but let's face it, there's a reason why that stuff has an age restriction! If you wouldn't take your child with you to a strip club, then why buy it a Barbie doll? Isn't it the same concept? And yes, I know that term has been so overused and overplayed, and I hate it as well - “objectifying women” - so let's put it some other way just to get the whole concept into a less desensitised perspective. Would you enjoy some guy you didn't know eying out your mother or sister or daughter as if she was some hooker, just hungry and wet for another fuck?
 
You see, chicks have brains, too, and sometimes, they even learn to use them, against all of the socio-cultural conditioning that's been around since long before the Romans got reborn. It's a wonderful thing to see, because it is still quite new and refreshing. But it's also frustrating in equal measure to see chicks accepting their roles as mindless beasts, burdened with the task of procreation and all that comes with it. And part of that role is linked to the mindless, plastic, and so-called “perfect” Barbie doll.
 
So here's something for all the moms and prospective moms out there to think about: when you buy your little sweet innocent baby girl her first Barbie doll: imagine several hundred thousand horny men all drooling spittle over “Barbie” while they frantically masturbate to it.
